Fosmax LNG pursues its project
Following a call for expressions of interest launched in February 2017, Fosmax LNG has received very positive market signals, confirming as such the need for a small scale reloading service available in 2019 at its Fos Cavaou LNG terminal.
The basic engineering studies have since been carried out with the objective to receive small scale LNG vessels with a Length Over All (L.O.A) of about 100 m and/or a capacity of 5,000 m3 .
Fosmax LNG is now discussing with the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) as well as the project stakeholders and considers organizing a sale in the coming weeks. This process would allow Fosmax LNG to make a final investment decision for the project this year.
