THE LNG TANKER-TRUCK LOADING SERVICE
Fosmax LNG and Elengy are contributing to the rapid development of new LNG uses and the implementation of the energy transition. Via our LNG tanker truck loading service, we now offer access to LNG for customers not connected to the transmission grid. A particularly economical and eco-friendly fuel for industrial plants, road transport, ships and other types of vehicles.

Our services
At its Montoir-de-Bretagne (from July 2013), Fos Tonkin (from June 2014) and and Fos Cavaou (since October 2019) facilities, Fosmax LNG and Elengy offer their customers (energy suppliers) the option of loading up road tankers with LNG for transportation to its point of use. This LNG is therefore destined to supply industrial users or LNG fuel distribution stations for vehicles or ships. It thus offers an economic solution to new environmental requirements. With this new service, Fosmax LNG and Elengy are promoting the increased use of LNG in France and Europe as a fuel of the future or as an economical and eco-friendly fuelling solution for industrial sites not connected to the natural gas transmission and distribution grid.
LNG TRUCK LOADING SERVICE
Today, Fosmax LNG and Elengy offer a range of solutions for the flourishing market in LNG fuel, and more generally road-transported LNG.
LNG fuel can power ships and road freight vehicles and is an economical response to new environmental demands in Europe.
As part of this offer, an LNG loading service for LNG trucks and ISO containers is available at Montoir-de-Bretagne since July 2013, at Fos sur Mer since June 2014 and at Fos Cavaou since October 2019. This capacity has doubled since October 2019 with the commissioning of a new loading station at the Fos Cavaou terminal. Indeed, the service can now load up to 22 000 tanks per year at the three loading stations (compared to 12 000 in 2018).
Facing the strong increase in subscriptions from their clients, Fosmax LNG and Elengy continuously develop their truck loading service to adapt the stations to the growing needs of the market. Capacity has been doubled at Fos sur Mer and tripled at Montoir-de-Bretagne since the commercial introduction of the service. This development, subsidized by European Union, and the improvement of the two stations allowed Fosmax LNG and Elengy to load almost 4 000 trucks in 2017, close to 6 000 in 2018 and 8 500 in 2019.
Finally, we would like to ask you to share with us your vision of the road-transported LNG and LNG fuel market and tell us about your potential needs at the Fos-sur-Mer and Montoir-de-Bretagne terminals.
